week eight - 29/8/11

My first phone selfie, and I promised myself I wouldn't resort to using my phone. That I was going to push myself really hard and do this right.

This coming week I have a specialist appointment about the fibromyalgia I am currently battling. Fibro presents in different people in different ways, and is one of those conditions that is somewhat controversial in the medical world. A bit like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. For me it presents as a combo of arthritis, depression and CFS. I can hardly move without some part of me being in pain. So for weeks I haven't shaved my legs, simply because I can't.

However, I'm assuming my specialist will want to look at my feet/knees which are some of my more painful spots. So I need to bite the bullet. Ouch.
